Hey all!  I picked up a Galaxian cabinet less than a week ago.  When I first got it, it was playing blind.  Yesterday I tinkered with it, and got a green line down the center.  It turns out the service switch was causing the issue.  Last night, after more tinkering, I got blue and green working.  This morning I noticed that some blue was leaking from the anode cup.  I discharged the monitor, removed the cup, and cleaned everything.  Reassembled and now I have red!  I have been unable to get the convergence right.  The monitor is very dim and, the left side of the image is pushed to the right about 2 inches.  I ordered a cap kit since this machine is 35 years old.  I plan to reflow the solder.  Since I'll have the boards pulled out, may as well recap.  Anything else I should look for, or just do the caps and see what happens?

Heya!  I've listened to the podcast for almost a year now.  Picked it up while searching for 'retro' gaming podcasts.  I thoroughly enjoy it.  Even when they go off and talk about beer fags and Franz.  I just picked up an all original Galaxian cabinet on Sunday.  First one I've had since my Playchoice-10 I picked up in the mid 90's.  I will likely have questions about it since the game is playing blind.  I'll dig through the forums before asking stupid questions.  Y'all take care!

Edit:  Some pics of the Galaxian cabinet
