Okay guys I got a multimeter and fuse F501 is blown. This is the soldered fuse on the chassis. The flowchart says it's either the HOT, the diodes(caused by no isolation transformer which I didn't do), or the flyback which is very rare and doesn't have any cracks. The HOT tests good, so I don't know what to do with this thing. Should I just shotgun it by replacing both the HOT and flyback? Thanks

I installed the cap kit today and it changed nothing. All the fuses on the bottom of the game are good, but I have no way to test if the fuse on the monitor is good. What could be going wrong? I feel like it should be working because it still pops and makes the high-pitched noise but it doesn't. Help?

My 4900 in my Galaga died yesterday. No clue what is wrong with it. When I turn it on, I get the normal popping sound, and the high pitched noise like it's on, but nothing ever comes up and it plays blind. Ordered a cap kit from Ian, figured it was a good place to start. Is there anything else I might need? Anyone know why it's dead?
