BC, your pinball-fu is strong.  I can now sleep in the day.  Thanks, man!

How in the L did you figure that out?

So if anyone watches The Flash, they probably noticed that Cisco has a pinball machine in his apartment.  I spent an hour trying to identify it with IPMD and a reverse image search, but no luck.  Anyone have a clue here?  It's not important, but it is maddening.

The pic is blurry because it was a background item, but a few things can be gathered by it - it's 4 player, not a widebody, looks like a Williams coin door, the title is in the upper left of the backglass, and it looks like a character is standing in the front center.

I freakin' LOVE Aurail.  Played it during lunch in high school in the same arcade I bought my Space Harrier from, and that was the only Aurail I ever saw in my travels.  Such an underrated game.  Hard as hell on the later levels, too.  I never managed to finish it, even with continues.  I would love to own an Aurail someday.

That being said, I think the pic of your screen didn't post...try again, maybe?

How is the sound on it?   Does it coin up, and if so does it (effectively) play blind?

If you ever get the chance, check out this interview with the director of Aurail, Ryuichi Nishizawa: http://hg101.kontek.net/aurail/aurail.htm

No.  It doesn't end.  You will get more.  You will be looking at more even when you don't have any more room.  Even if someday, you somehow get rid of them, you will eventually work toward getting more.

Welcome to the support group.  ;)

Hey there Andy, and welcome!  That's interesting about your parents buying that house!  Did you find any treasures when your parents moved in?  I couldn't find anything on Etablissemanget Spelautomater - do you know what games they distributed?

Welcome, Speed!  Wow, you did a great job on that custom cocktail.  I dig the glass artwork and the wood sides - is that stain or vinyl?
I wish I could remember what the first arcade game I played was - my earliest game memory is actually of playing pinball with my uncle.  Probably why I still want a decent pin after all these years.  Good luck on your DK search, and let us know how it goes!

Welcome, Mr_Weaverface!  You've got two great games there.  I remember thinking that Time Pilot and Gyruss were like opposites of each other, with the center-shooting-out and outside-shooting-in perspectives, and I absolutely love them both.  You should post a few pics of your restores as they go.  Also, don't be afraid to ask questions - there's lots of people here that would love to help another restorer out.

Welcome, Nooch!  I hope your restores go well - if you have any questions or need some advice, this is a great place to ask for it.  You should do some before-and-after photos of your restores, if only for your own realization of how much work you had to do.  And post them, of course!

Welcome, TopHatt!  Everyone has to start somewhere - any ideas as to what style you're going to build your game in?  I ended up building my last one in a Robotron cabaret style.  There's lots of places to get plans on the 'net.  Anyway, good luck, and let us know how your build or hunt goes!

Welcome, Krh!  Yeah, my wife calls it an obsession too...but since I still build her stuff in between projects she deals with it. Smiley
What games do you have, or what games would be your top pick-ups?

Welcome, Simon!  It's great to have more European guys rebuilding and preserving games.  And you open your arcade so that others can see what playing in an arcade is like too...that's how we keep the hobby going.  Try reposting your Soul Calibur 2 problem in a new message and I'm sure someone will have some ideas for you.  Again, welcome!

Welcome, 6-bit, and that's a choice selection of games there!  I think a lot of people pick up a couple of their favorites and call it good - I only had three games at once myself, and although I would have loved to have had more, we work with what we have to do what we want to do.  Always good to see another red tent coming back to life, too!  Keep us posted!

Welcome, Solar!  Yeah, I think a lot of guys start with Mame cabs - I went the reverse route, from having dedicated cabs to building a Mame cab until I get a bigger place.  Which dedicated game did you pick up, and what kind of shape was it in?
