Finally placed my order and grabbed a T-shirt, took advantage of the shipping by adding a few extras in my cart. Can't wait to receive my goodies in the mail. Its like waiting for Christmas, but its only August. LOL . 

Finally got my first arcade machine (and its in rough shape).  The ground plug is broken off then  I notice there is no field ground going to the switching p/s. So before I even start messing around I need to be safe.

So I guess my next question is. Since I have to replace the plug. Is there even a need for the RFI filter with a switching P/S. Can I just replace the power cord  and connect it directly to the p/s and then the monitor to the p/s as well since I have to remove the RFI filter.

How awesome is this, I've been looking to rebuild an classic arcade as a new hobby but can't find a machine locally. This would make a great alternative, Where in Canada are you located ?
