1  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO VS. FORUM / HighScore VS Multi Kit question on: May 16, 2017, 03:37:06 pm
Question for anyone that has tried the VS MultiKit.

Are the colors correct?  Seems like some games cross the PPU spectrum.

Eventually I would love to find a VS Unisystem and be able to play both Duck Hunt and Hogans Alley using the multiKit. I think Hogans Alley and Duck Hunt use two different PPU's. Does this mean that one of them would have incorrect colors depending on which PPu I was running?

Thanks.

Just want to make sure everyone understands the parts I have.

The wooden part of the control panel.
A cpo, which someone already messaged me about getting.

I don't have the joy stick, wire harness, etc.

I do have some original buttons.  They show the wear of 30 years though.  So Dadsglasses, I'll get in touch with you to see what you think about them.

Thanks
Thank you

Do you need the entire control panel?  I have a used cpo that has a crack near the player 1 button.  I also have an old control panel (the wooden part) and I'm also able to reproduce that part as well so it looks new.  Send me a message if you are interested.  Thanks?  I've got a board too, just in case you were looking for 1.

Would you be interesting in selling the buttons out of that CP?  I am interested in original dark blue Player 1/2 buttons & Original "yellow/orange" jump button.
5  Tech and Marketplace / For Sale / Wanted / WTB: CT/NewEngland: Nintendo Vs or PlayChoice 10 w/ gun on: July 31, 2015, 09:13:39 am
I am looking to buy an upright arcade for Duck Hunt & Hogan's Alley. I would like either a Nintendo VS or PlayChoice 10 with a working gun.

I am willing to pay a fair price for a unit in good working order.

After a little googling and reading a few OTHER forum threads... it seems this EXACT thing has been asked time and time again.
From what I have gathered  Galaga/Ms. pac are the same (*Difference is Monitor angle and coin door position)
AND
Galaxian & PacMan are also near twins... with the same difference...
Apparently when Pac took off Bally/Midway initially was repurposing Galaxian cabs that were produced but not yet sold into Pac's to try and keep up with the demand.

So I THINK I can safely make the Pac without feeling as guilty as I do about having a 60 in 1 in my DK-Jr cabinet...  I know, I know, it wasn't me.

I'm sure you can make it into a beautiful PacMan that you will be very proud of!  Go for it. I can't wait to watch the progress.

My PAC control panel is roughly 7"x23". Marquee is roughly 9"x23". Cabinet at deepest point is 33".

I can send PAC can pics if you want.

I believe he is trying to apply the "swap the rom chips on a Nintendo VS board to swap the game" process on a board that is not a Nintendo VS board. I'm assuming that because this is posted in the Nin VS section?

Looking for a fair price on a working Nintendo VS Unisystem Duck Hunt or Hogans Alley in the CT/New England area.

Thanks.
13  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO VS. FORUM / Re: Adding a gun to a Unisystem? on: July 23, 2015, 07:54:38 pm
Sorry to bump this up, I'm just wondering how difficult it is to add a gun to a Vs Unisystem?  I'm planning to start looking for a unit with the end goal of having a Duck Hunt or Hogans Alley.

If I can find a non shooter, and the install is pretty easy, then I'll grab it. If the install is insanely difficult, then I will take my time and wait to find a shooter.

That's great!  Start them young, and raise them right?

15  Tech and Marketplace / For Sale / Wanted / Re: Donkey Kong Jr. Restore Parts on: July 22, 2015, 02:31:45 pm
I'm in delaware.

I was hoping you were a little closer. Shipping and PayPal definitely cuts into my desire to sell.

Let me know how the hunt goes, and if you are striking out then maybe we can work something out.

I have a pcb, marquee, bezel, control panel overlay, and serial plate.
