I have a story to tell,..i take 8 days off from work,.VACATION,..i came back from PA from the PIN FEST 2015 show AND from my Brothers house in Stroudsburg PA and boy did i score!...i brought my wife Angie and my friend jimmy linderman
for those who dont know about my friend jimmy,..hes a world record holder at MR Do./PAC-MANIA and some others,..google him)
My brother Michael who lives about an hour away in PA came to the PINFEST show with his 1 of 3 daughters  (my niece) to play some pinball. there had to be at least 375 pins and 25 arcades there,..the place is HUGE.. this is my second year going. by the way..JOHN..((my wife and i were wearing your johns arcade t shirts we bought online) we were repping the shirts..and so did another couple of people there at the show.
what i got on saturday (last day) -->>( although i was there for both FRI & SAT show..and( it )arrived late with other late comers bringing their LAST MINUTE goodies,..a few more pins come strolling in thru the vendors entrance a couple of hours before closing.,.a 60 in 1 multicade and beautiful black and white monitor classic BASKETBALL arcade with the two trackballs..remember that one? which i have no room for anyways,..                 while i was making deals with a young chap (a vendor) in the flea market section,.snatching up as many pcbs/the simpsons dolls for my brothers kids/and yes!..elvis records i can get,..pretty good deals so far,..and spent some good coin,.after all the shopping walking around talking to PINGEEK and wife,..seeing some other youtubers, dave and other members from arcade club in long island ny /eating as much shit fast food as i can stuff down my throat, feeling tired ,feet hurt, half broke, played everything i wanted to play, wasted two entire days from open till close,..feeling all gamered & pinned out. Just when im about to call it a fun filled weekend and go home back to brooklyn that next day. (sunday nite after my brother mike has a great BBQ )   we went to the farmers market across from the show and spent over $100  bucks on fresh turkey and chicken burgers and delicious custom made sausage with tomato cheese with broccoli rabe,.i had about 12 different burgers ,..and about a dozen different sausages ..with cheese and rolls with beer and wine...another great pig out at my brothers,...when do i have time to shit?.                                                     .        im getting ahead of the story,..BEFORE the BBQ,.. ok..just when we were about to leave,..the young gent that i made some deals with at the show tells me to follow him to show me this arcade he had just brought in,..just when i thought ive seen every game and pin in there,..he sneaks this in here!..so small ,anyone would have passed it up. Its a ---->>>  Shocked                                                                                                  SEGA/GREMLIN ASTRO FIGHTER cabertail. in minty shape. Grin  my eyes popped out of my head and my heart skipped many beats with enjoyment,..i thought i died and went to heaven!...    ME out of all people..he shows this to, knowing i dumped money on him earlier,..funny thing,..the kid tells me that the game has been sitting on the show floor for an hour!..im surprised nobody has bought it when it first came in,..(90% of the pins and arcades at the show have little post-it notes on the machines with the contact name /phone number and price on it-ready to sell)
So we go back and forth on a a price that was reasonable for both of us,..we play a game, its a two player!. has two sets of keys, all original buttons and small joysticks ..very clean inside,..we settled on $440 bucks for the little guy. shows about to end,.im happy to get a rare not so often seen game in my collection .get it over to the van and pop it in with the elvis records/simpsons toys/ and and the wife and jimmy, and head over to my brothers for BBQ that next day,..we pull out the Astro fighter and play and eat,..what a great fun vacation weekend i had.

im going to post pics of the astro fighter inside and out and screenshots of it playing.. pics soon
