You could always use the quad trimmer on the t-molding.

First thing is to get a meter and verify you are getting voltage to the PCB. Then check any 74 ic to make you are getting a good 5 volts. Pictures of the inside of the cab would help also.

If you have a volt meter then put it on DC volts. Find a TTL chip (74ls00) for example. Measure the voltage for 5 volts to make sure you are getting a good 5 volts. This is the first step.

They are the same cords.

It sounds like either the flyback is bad or the coating around the tube is missing or damaged. If you can post pictures of the action, you will get more people responding.

The fuse block looks like the original fuse block and it has problems. I would replace the fuse block with a new one.

I would replace the edge connector socket and remove access solder from the edge connector. You can then fix the edge connector with epoxy and foil tape to repair the edge connector. There are several YouTube videos that show you how to do this type of repair.
