I just recapped my 20ez and it was the flyback that was dead. I thought it was the HOT at first, but after removing my old one and testing it, it works fine. You might need a new flyback.
2  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / RBI Baseball Stand Alone Questions on: April 20, 2015, 05:06:04 pm
Hi all,

New member here. I recently scored a RBI Baseball for super cheap. Its in a stand alone cab, and while I was doing research, I noticed on forums that the RBI Baseball never came in a cabinet standalone, but only on VS games. That's fine with me.

The reason I got the cab so cheap was that it recently died on the previous owner. He said he left it on one night, and the monitor went out, and game did not turn on. While I was at his house, I had him plug it in, and the game was not playing blind, but the marquee light was on. I noticed with the marquee light that it was independent of the power supply itself from the wall plug.

The game is still in my truck, as I haven't had a chance to move it into the garage to start messing with it.  My question is, where should I start looking? I was thinking power supply first since there was no neck glow or any noise from the game after plugging in and coining up. If the power supply is the first place to look, where should I look to buy a nintendo one? Would a regular happ suzo one work?

Sorry about the lack of pictures, but I will get some up ASAP when the game is out of my truck.

Thanks!
