Who said DK JR is better on the console?!

I would not agree with this! Smiley

I mis-typed.  I think it was Mike Tyson's punch out that Jow suggested was better on the console.  I disagree with that BUT...... If you have any 8-bit Ataris laying around, I challenge you to play a few games of DKJr and then go to your DKJr cab and play a few games.  I do think the 8-bit version is better.

I agree punch out is a great game on the console but different from the arcade version. I personally think the arcade version is more challenging than the console or PC10. Same goes for any Nintendo game in the arcade,  there's just something about standing in front of the cabinet that makes it better.

The game looks impressive visually. Can't wait to get some time on one.

My main reason for asking was because I have a empty gravitar cabinet I was thinking turning into a space dual. I already have a gravitar so I don't need another one. I think once im finished with it I won't mind as much.

Although I don't like seeing classics converted into multi games or just plain bad games, is it accepted by collectors to convert games or empty cabinets to other games of the same manufacturer?  Example, robotron in a joust cabinet or discs of tron from a tron. I personally wouldn't convert a working game but if you cant find a specific title and can acquire the components to build one from another I feel it's ok. What are your opinions on this?
