Ive ordered some k7000 kits and so far installed one of them and that monitor turned out great! I will order more from Ian again when I'm in need.

I would think you could take and wire three kick harnesses together so that the buttons were wired to all three games at the same time with a 6in1 switcher because it only supplies power to one game at a time. So yeah when you use player 3 and 4 the signals would be going to all three games at once but since they are not on it shouldn't matter? Just my theory if never tried it myself. Just though about it for myself. I have Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Street fighter I was thinking about doing the same thing with and cps2 also has a kick harness.

4  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / I have a couple questions about some K7000s on: July 30, 2014, 08:06:26 pm
OK I have 2 K7000 chassis one kinda works and the other blows fuses. The one that works Is really dim so i figure a cap kit and prolly a flyback will fix this on right up. I just want to know is this on is a medium res k7000 or not. and is there a special cap kit or flyback for this chassis?

The other I bought off ebay as untested there was a trace that lifted so i put the blue jumper wire in. But there are a couple things on the solder side of the board that im not sure are factory.

Ok I bought a killer instinct 2 cab with a u5000 and all it was doing was clicking! after a ton of googling, a cap kit, flyback, 2 Hots, and a couple resisters. The clicking sound is gone! Great news I thought. but it still wont power up! I've got no neck glow! and when i "try" to discharge the monitor I get nothing. the B+ reads at only 7.8vDC which I know it needs to be around 115v. Im just at a wall and dont know what else to do.

Just looking for some pointers I guess. Thanks guys
