Title: K7901 from Horizontal to Vertical Post by: jasonsmith on March 16, 2014, 12:09:09 pm The horizontal / vertical monitor thing has me confused. I have a K7901 that was used horizontally in a cab. Can I simply just rotate it and use it vertically with a 412 in 1 kit. I'm sure I need to do something to something to make it work no?
Oh and it's does have the universal mount with flanges all around for mounting. So physically it's not going to be an issue. Did I read something about sync wires...? Yes, that's it. Just rotate it. Now, it might not be that simple as the cabinet might not have the brackets for it to be mounted another way. Also, some monitor frames are oriented vertically. These are typically used in games that were designed for that particular monitor frame and sometimes you can't put the back door on the game if you rotate a horizontal frame monitor. I really like the Gyruss style cab with the controls tucked under, may build one of those. Now I just need to test it and see if it works.
