Title: FS - Anything to Jamma adapters
Post by: iankellogg on February 22, 2014, 11:19:16 pm
I am slowly starting to get around to making my adapters and I was wondering if there is any that people want done? The only down side is that at the moment it costs me $15/board at the quantity I would be working at.

I just finished my Pacman to Jamma adapter and I will be putting an order for these boards soon. If anyone is interested let me know. These would have the edge connector already installed, just not shown in the picture below.

I am curious, is this a pacman cabinet to jamma board adapter, or pacman board to jamma cabinet?
Since they are made both ways i am just trying to make sure everyone know which it is.

Hi Ian - If we pull off the trade we've been discussing of the Karate Champ. A Karate Champ to Jamma cabinet adapter would be awesome if it's possible to do this.

ill start looking into that as soon as i have time again, probably around this weekend. I know for a fact the price is going to be closer to $25/30 because of the needed components

That would be fine. I think it would be a good seller! I don't know of any available on the market. I installed a pac cab adapter last weekend and it turned out great.

i got an untested design down for the jamma->nintendo adapter. I am not sure if i am going to do just a test board or if i should go ahead and design a prototype

Got the prototype back. It works mostly, I have a few things to change and I am going to add in the cocktail/upright select which I forgot to do in this version.

Did these adapters ever get produced?

The pacman adapters were produced, I designed but never ordered jamma->nintendo and nintendo->jamma, Konami->jamma, and a few others are partially designed.

If there is an adapter you are looking for, i can create adapters like you see in the post here in about 2 hours and then its just a week turnaround from the fab.

I'll buy a few from you

let me know what you are looking for. I can make any adapters. I haven't really figured a price but I was thinking $15 or $20 for the simple adapters and $30+ for the more complicated ones like the nintendo adapters.

Sorry I have been kind of missing in action. I have been busy moving. I can do ether a wire finger board adapter for $20 or a PCB version like the pac for $40.
