Title: Machine # 1 - The Jamma Vertical
Post by: lesoleil70 on February 02, 2014, 04:15:32 pm
It's been a fun couple of weeks researching, bidding, chatting. Which led to buying, gutting, panicking, rewiring, chatting, more panicking and finally boomshanka.

Compared to some of you guys who bring original machines back to factory spec, I'm not even close, I know that, but I'm off the starting block and it's thanks to you guys on this forum and Johns vids.

I have a grin from ear to ear. I learned shit loads. I've been dreaming Jamma harnesses and needlessly worrying about how coin doors work.  Its so simple now...where was my mind...

Just got to fix this shitty marquee, and get a bezel and some gaiters for the joysticks, I've grown attached to the control panel overlay, its a strange design, it stays.

...and now i want more.....

horizontal Jamma cab coming up.

I highly recommend getting a 25 inch horizontal if you can. A ton of the horizontal 19 inch games play pretty well in the 19 vert so go big!

I'm on the prowl now, I'm still in shock after my dream Astro Fighter got pulled from ebay.
