Title: Nintendo CP Carriage Bolts Post by: UnwoundS3GA on February 01, 2014, 04:14:13 pm Well, I have a Donkey Kong control panel. It, has no carriage bolts (the carriage bolts are used to hold down the cpo to the wood). Does anyone know where I can find these? ???

Not sure if the ones in the control panel are as uncommon a size. From what I found when researching the coin door ones, most people seemed to recommend Ace Hardware (though the Ace I tried didn't have what I needed).

Yeah, Ace Hardware is GREAT for oddball nuts and bolts. The one by me has bins full of hard to find screws and nuts. I got there constantly. Ones I have are a bit rusty and scuffed up (and one bolt is actually bent). Title: Re: Nintendo CP Carriage Bolts Post by: John's Arcade on February 02, 2014, 06:33:22 pm Sweet, guys! I have ordered from Arcade Boneyard a few times. No problems. He is a bit of a controversial dealer as he blatantly strips games to sell the parts. BUT, he has saved my ass a few times. It looks like these bolts are new, though. :)
Title: Re: Post by: Gadget Man 007 on February 02, 2014, 06:39:33 pm I've stumbled upon his site once before but was turned away by its appearance. Looks a bit sketchy.
Wish all arcade part dealers would use Amazon for distribution. Hate having to send emails, mail checks, or pay shipping for these things. He doesn't have a bad reputation for screwing people. Title: Re: Post by: Gadget Man 007 on February 02, 2014, 07:36:25 pm Cool. I just mean in general. Feel like it's such an inconvenience to order from most arcade sites.

We contacted him for Shipping & Paying arrangements only. The carriage bolts we bought were labeled "4 MM. X 35 MM ( 1 5/8 ) Carriage Bolts & Nuts These Are Good For Use On Nintendo Coin Doors & Control Panels (10 Pack) $3.99" on his site. Here's a picture of the carriage bolts. Measure them. 4MM. X 35 MM ( 1 5/8 ) Carriage Bolts & Nuts These Are Good For Use On Nintendo Coin Doors & Control Panels (10 Pack) $3.99 These look the same to you?!?! Title: Re: Nintendo CP Carriage Bolts Post by: UnwoundS3GA on February 06, 2014, 09:32:16 pm Here's some better quality photos. As you can see, the square neck does not fit all the way down in the CP.
