Title: Help required with a very faded childhood memory Post by: lesoleil70 on January 31, 2014, 04:52:51 pm I'm trying to find a game that I've convinced myself is real. I have an early childhood memory of an arcade game, I was on holiday in devon, I had a pocket of 10p's, grabbed a stool, climbed up and started to play. I recall larger kids gathering round, almost in the screen with me because I was owning the thing.
I was playing a shooter, I've been trying to convince myself it was GORF, but ...maybe not. Similar. The game changed every level, and you would/could shoot diagonally. I think you controlled a tank, but not sure. Early 80's era. Anyone? galaga/gorf/phoenix/galaxians/space invaders type but the levels changes each wave, like Gorf in that respect, but I really don't think it was Gorf. but obscure perhaps the tank is wrong... Diagonal shooting was from the aliens, fk knows where I got the tank from, but this is the game 100% http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMBrGXzB-p8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMBrGXzB-p8) |
