My passion is collecting Nintendo Nes games but arcade machines have always fascinated me. I feel I was lucky enough to be able to still enjoy arcades in the 90's before they were almost totally gone. I remember going to a circus circus pizza arcade as a kid that used to be a Showbiz Pizza and just being in awe at the variety of machines they had. On top of that I was able to see a Rock a fire explosion show :)
As of late I just got my first arcade. It's a Super Pacman. It's in rough shape and has a power issue but I am sure I can get it to work. Any of you go to any of the local shows/games conventions? I've gone to The Whiterose Game Show, Too Many Games, Replay FX and most recently the Mason-Dixon Arcade Auction in Gettysburg PA. I'm hoping to get to Pinfest next year. Wish there was an easy way to learn about conventions/auctions/game shows but everything I've been to has been via word of mouth or a lucky Google search one day. |
