Title: Custom Tokens, yes or no?
Post by: lordkahless214 on September 13, 2013, 07:31:05 pm
Hey everyone, All of my cabs are set to token operation, so I thought it might be fun to have custom tokens made up for my arcade, usually I just collect a few every time I go to an arcade or operator's shop, but personalized ones just seem like they really cool to have, and I was thinking of giving some to visitors as well.
Anybody have thoughts on this? or maybe actually done it?
I was thinking of having it done next spring when I buy my project cabs.

Working on my business Ive toyed with the idea of ghost quarter tokens. I know there's company's out there that do it. However your going to need to know what size and weight tokens your going to need. For instance if you get a token the size of a quarter but the weight of a dime it's not going to work in your coin mech.

I am by no means trying to discourage you

A quick Google search came up with this site to help you get an idea of what your looking into.

This will give you an idea how to adjust your coin mechs.
