Title: Back at the Cruis'N USA - Really need some ideas. Post by: BigBadBilly on August 05, 2016, 12:25:45 pm Hey guys.
I began playing with a cruis'n USA single sit-down last year, and have went back at it last week with refreshed hope. Or so I thought. I replaced the power supply and even went and got a new JAMMA harness, wired everything up and hit the power. Initial checks passed, all the Eprom chips passed... and, I hit the "calibrate steering wheel" section, it tells me to center wheel and hit Enter... and... nothing. Can't seem to hit that enter button. Now... I've checked the voltages on the board... everything is good. I manually checked all the wiring from the board straight through to the various spots in the cabinet. Lights, buttons, coin door, wheel. Continuity is great. I also checked the wiring and the button itself to make sure everything was good. (The button being the enter button ( Enter, Vol up, vol down, etc )) Everything seems to work on this game. From head to toe.... but I can't get it to register that I've hit the enter button when calibrating the wheel... and without doing that I can't get past that screen. So... does anyone have this game? Does anyone have any ideas? I've learned so much from this cabinet but now, it's really frustrating since in theory... everything checks out. It "should" work fine! I just can't get past the wheel calibration!!! Thanks for reading guys. |
