Title: Canadians Sound off - IMPORT Question
Post by: Netropolis on September 24, 2015, 02:13:23 pm
Has anyone gone south to 'merica to pick up a cabinet?

What was bring it back - (Border Security wise)
Was there any duty that needed to be paid?
Did they need to look inside to make sure it wasn't full of Miami Vice Era Coke?

I have a line on a couple of pretty sweet deals about 5 hours south of me, thinking of making the trek for at least one of them.
I just don't want to get to the boarder and find out I can't bring a US National Treasure outside of the country.

Go ahead and do it. Unless the inside of the cab is lined with a rare printing of the deceleration of independence you're not going to have issues getting it over the border. Just let them know what you have and what it costs when you come back.
