Title: The Look of a Bar man
Post by: Plokman on August 14, 2015, 10:18:36 pm
Hey all it's me,
Sorry about being away for the last two or so weeks. Been watching a charity stream and supporting it. Anyway enough on my absence. A thought came to me a little while ago and it concerns our old friend Tapper.

This isn't a tech question really but as I've shown I'm a sprite artist and I want to adapt some other arcade classics to a sprite style fitting of Tapper. I want to know if anyone knows how the old sprites were made.I know Tapper was a collaboration between Marvin Glass & Associates and Bally Midway thanks to John's beautiful cabinet we see and hear every video and his discussion on it.

But beyond that I know very little on the writers and artists behinde the game. So if anyone knows more please pass it on.

Also my first plan to try to mimic the style was draw a sketch of the character in the poses I want then scan that sketch and trace it after resizeing and make that a sprite so I may still do that but any help would be Hi.

Thank you for listening to me gabb hope you all are well and most important I hope I posted in the right place,
