Title: Ivan (IRONMAN) Stewart Super Off Road need Help
Post by: krakorjak on June 23, 2015, 06:40:12 am
I think I am having a issue with my Super Off Road arcade. I have noticed when I play it that I always play the same 4 boards over and over. When I run the diagnostics it shows all 8 boards and everything is okay for the board maps. Is it possible for the game to run missing some rom data that will cause this trouble? Truly I thought I was just not playing it long enough to see the boards. Then I went to 16 bit Bar Arcade last Sunday for Fathers day and I was watching people play this game and sure enough more boards were showing up that I have never played on my Arcade. So now I am back questioning if something is wrong with my Arcade. So just a little background this is my first arcade I have bought for a basement arcade. I got it with garbage on the screen and I was able to reset the chips and wiring to fix that problem but I am a little lost on why this problem might be happening with the missing game boards. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

It is possible there is something going on with the eproms. Maybe the wrong code version installed so it doesn't know how to access the tracks?

I truly don't know for certain since I have never played let alone worked on this game. I hope someone here has one and can comment further but KLOV might be the place to go with this question.

Thanks for the reply. I just posted this question on KLOV hopefully between the two sites I can get a understanding on what's going on.
