like the pad itself is damaged? is it possible to solder to the pad even if its damaged? Title: Re: sanyo 20 EZV capacitor pad half gone Post by: Joecommando on June 22, 2015, 07:04:02 pm yeah, the metal pad on the board that you solder to was half missing which i thought was strange there is still a connection through a multimeter so it might be ok but was wanting to make a better connection if possible.
Title: Re: sanyo 20 EZV capacitor pad half gone Post by: iankellogg on June 22, 2015, 07:44:38 pm I think you are better off trying to solder to that damaged pad than trying to hack something together on the board. less time you spend with the iron on the board the better off you are.

Everyone starts somewhere and helping others is the best thing I could do.
