Title: Great eBay'er allert! madrits (Slava)
Post by: Oldschool on March 10, 2015, 01:39:44 pm
I'm not sure if Slava is a member on here or not, but I had the pleasure of doing business with him via eBay and he's been amazing to deal with. I initially wrote him via one of his auctions to ask him if he made Ms. Pac speed chips for boards that had the 6 ROM hack done (Thanks again to IAN for pointing out I had a hack board!!  :)) since I couldn't get the standard speed chip to work with my board. Well it turned out not only could he, but I sent him my board and he made it so it had the "proper" 6 ROM hack so my speed chip would work correctly (and any add-ons I decided to do from there), and even replaced a leaking cap that I didn't know was bad (the big silver one) while he was at it! All in less then 18hrs after receiving my board!!!

I know a lot of you on here do your own board repairs, but if any of you are like me where there comes a point that you wanna leave it to someone with more experience, I HIGHLY recommend you shoot him a message!

Slava is a well known name. He isn't a member here but he is well known, at least to me. He has been around for a while.

Yes got my high score save and 4 in 1 kits from him. He spent as much time through e-mails with me as he had to to answer all of my dumb rookie questions. In the end I was able to UN-hack my board to get his 4 in 1 kit to work. Both kits work great. Heck I don't even have a Paypal account and he worked with me on that too. I'll do business with him again. In the future I plan on getting a Pacman game and coverting my Ms. Pacman with the 4 in 1 back to just a Ms. Pacman. I'll need a few chips from him to make it work plus I'll also get another high score save for the Pacman game (once I buy one).
