Title: Using JB Weld to fill in metal holes Post by: bfrosty on February 10, 2015, 11:32:50 am What type of backing should be used when filling holes with the JB weld stuff?
I was thinking masking tape, painters tape...something that the JB Weld won't stick to. Does it really matter? Does anyone have a preference and if so, what do you use? I've also used pennies to fill small holes before, pennies are so worthless, there isn't much else you can do with them ;D Title: Re: Using JB Weld to fill in metal holes Post by: VertexGuy on February 10, 2015, 06:52:38 pm I use a holesaw and cut the pieces I need from sheetmetal.. then tac weld and grind those into the panel I am repairing.
