What would be the best finish?  Satin?

Wasn't it fiberboard/MDF/particle with some sort of laminate, vinyl, or baked on finish?

I don't think it was painted. Pretty sure it was like my Journey.

Most Galaga cabinets are not plywood. Some are. Is yours plywood?

If so, I'd paint it with black oil based satin.

Well I don't have one. I have a hot shot basketball that used to be a pacman. Been thinking about going to galaga instead of pacman.  I have a pacman, 2 ms pacman and a ms pacman cabaret.
