Title: Wire size

Hey guys im at work and I know this is going to sound stupid but im looking into buying a bulk load of connectors and I was curious what kind you thought I should get and what sizes.  what is the standard wire size for arcades.  also what connectors should i get.

The thicker the wire the better. There are a ton of different connectors that games used. a lot of amp mat-n-lok and .153 IDC connectors. A for wire, 16-18awg is pretty standard but check with the connector's rating before ordering.

I think I use 18 AWG for mostly everything DC related and then 20 gauge for control panels.

Same, 18 for lower power, 20 for i/o

Here in metric land I use 24/0.2 for power and 16/0.2 for everything else which I believe is the same. (16/0.2 = 20AWG, 24/0.2 = 18AWG).
