Title: Wire size Post by: StevesArcade on January 28, 2015, 12:10:50 am Hey guys im at work and I know this is going to sound stupid but im looking into buying a bulk load of connectors and I was curious what kind you thought I should get and what sizes. what is the standard wire size for arcades. also what connectors should i get.

There are a ton of different connectors that games used. a lot of amp mat-n-lok and .153 IDC connectors. A for wire, 16-18awg is pretty standard but check with the connector's rating before ordering.

Title: Re: Wire size Post by: Ade on January 29, 2015, 07:06:47 am Here in metric land I use 24/0.2 for power and 16/0.2 for everything else which I believe is the same. (16/0.2 = 20AWG, 24/0.2 = 18AWG).
