Title: 3D Print Sega Part POW-2610 for Power Drifts brake, and gas pedal
Post by: Blimpcity on January 21, 2015, 10:10:01 am
If you can't find an old arcade part draft it and 3D print it! Sega part POW-2610 for Power Drifts brake, and gas pedal. My teeth are just a hair off, going to redesign it with wider teeth to reduce stress. Current teeth are .125" wide and there is room for them to be .4" wide.

I drew up a modified gear so you can just swap the teeth out without taking the whole gas and brake assemble apart to swap teeth. Also its much cheaper to print just the teeth.

WOW! I am impressed. Is there a way to make the teeth stronger? Can you add extra supports? Would that even work?

Shouldn't need more supports. I printed out my new design, and will install it and test it out for awhile.

nice going.  I hope it holds up under stress because I heard the current material they use in 3D printers isn't really good for that
