Title: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: Purity on January 14, 2013, 10:31:04 am I came across this forum by accident when I was looking at John's Arcade Red Tent video on YouTube.
Sadly I think there is literally 1 Red Tent in the UK. That's why I'm in the process of getting one shipped from the US to the UK I've been collecting since about 2006. My machines are: Baby Pacman - currently being worked on Missile Command Cocktail Space Invaders Part II - currently fixing Asteroids Cabaret Star Wars DE Pinball machine Midnight Run upright and I've got various other arcade bits and bobs - a bar billiards table, jukebox I try to keep a track of my arcade stuff on a blog: http://www.arcadecollectors.co.uk/ I've joined the forum to learn a bit more about the red tents before I own one. I particularly would like to get hold of Baloon Fight games Title: Re: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: Chuckie egg on January 15, 2013, 01:14:56 pm At last a Jamma plus member

Not on Jamma Plus anymore I officially own a Red Tent this evening but it's still in the states :-) I expect it to be shipped between April-June. I'm going to try and bring it to some arcade events when it's nice and tidy - so you might get a game :-) Title: Re: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: Chuckie egg on January 16, 2013, 02:54:56 am Wow that's great

We must have met at the old Barn possibly? Nice get on the 'tent though. I really like them, but don't ever recall seeing one in the flesh. They kinda remind me of these (I'd kill for one!) Unfortunately I never made it to the barn, but I've seen your name/posts on J+ Yes, I've never seen one in the flesh either. Apparently someone else does have one in the UK, just have no idea who Photo has been blocked. Got another link? I know Pman. I sold him my Scramble. It's currently in Australia. :) Anyways, welcome to the site. Good luck with the red tent. If you need help with Balloon Fight, let me know. It's not too hard tom get working. Title: Re: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: Purity on January 20, 2013, 01:47:17 pm Hey, welcome to the forum! I know Pman. I sold him my Scramble. Thanks for the weclome John. The red tent I'm getting is meant to be fully working, and has Vs Golf on one side and Hogans Alley with a gun on the other so I'd be interested to know what other games I could convert it to use. I need to take a look at your pages to get some more info Title: Re: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: Purity on January 20, 2013, 04:30:36 pm OK I've read your pages now and it makes perfect sense! So I will have an RP2C04-0001 and RP2C04-0002 PPU.
I will need to get a 2x RP2C04-0003 PPU to play 2 player Balloon Fight, if I burn my own roms, and use the existing CPUS. I take it, it is fairly hard to get the PPU's? :( Title: Re: Hi, from Manchester, UK Post by: John's Arcade on January 20, 2013, 06:33:35 pm OK I've read your pages now and it makes perfect sense!
