Wouldn't hook it up to 120.
Title: Re: Popeye monitor Post by: computerfixerguy on October 29, 2014, 05:01:11 pm The sharp and sanyo monitors nintendo used have an ungrounded power plug that looks like it could plug into mains. But, DON"T DO IT. Those monitors require a 1.1:1 isolation transformer that changes 120v to 100v. Plugging it in directly to 120v is a great way to shock yourself and fry the monitor...
You need one of these guys: http://www.quarterarcade.com/Game.aspx/4526 Title: Re: Popeye monitor Post by: nintendoguy1982 on November 02, 2014, 10:33:39 am Got it. Yeah I just wanted to make sure the popeye cocktail monitor didn't require a diff voltage. Thanks for the info
