Title: Repairing Water Damage

Hey Guys I have a Neo Geo 4 slot with a bunch of water damage.  the inside looks ok but the outside is bad.  can anyone give me some hints on how to go about repairing this?

Rip the vinyl off, repair the edges with bondo, apply new red vinyl and NEO GEO side art and paint the black.

yeah, bondo is the key, it is amazing what you can do with it. i just replaced the bottom 14 inches of a dynamo cab as an experiment to see if i could pull it off, blended the seem with bondo and it looks great, recorded the process and might youtube it if i can figure it out, there are not alot of extensive cab repairs on youtube. good luck.

Thanks guys.  by applying the bondo will that prevent anymore of the wood from flaking off?

If it's flaking on the edges, then sand all the flaking away and then bondo it square again.

If it's incredibly waterlogged ALL OVER you might be screwed or you could try some wood hardener.
