Title: LCD on an Arcade game
Post by: KillerDragon on October 14, 2014, 09:13:04 pm
I am wondering how you all feel about using a LCD Screen in an Arcade machine because I am thinking about building a few machines from scratch and want to use an LCD screen.

+1,0000!

I understand why people would want to use LCDs... It's the easy way out. However, it just doesn't look and feel the same. I am repulsed by the flat image and blurry graphics. :)

This. I despise LCDs in arcade games. I won't even play a game so equipped. Looks wrong, feels wrong. Seen too many games ruined by sticking a LCD in them. But to each his own I suppose.
