What do you do? Do you replace light and start from bulb tronics or top light or do you replace whole fixture? I tried to find a how to on replacing fixture only klov how to link was dead. Since this site is more geared to all things ninty I'm sure someone has replaced the fixture here if do could you give a brief how to and where the fixture can be purchased at.

Typically I just replace the bulb and get a new starter. They are available at Lowes and Home Depot. The bulb is about $7 or $8 and the starter is about $2 unless you need a special voltage one.

I thought the nintendos needed a 10w 100v lamp not the std 120. Didn't think u could interchange them.

Huh? I usually always go with the starter first unless I know for sure it must be the bulb, some of them are rough to find, anyways. Thought the ballast was dead, but it was the starter, and luckily I tried that first. :P Even left the old bulb in it!
