Title: Keyboard Mania PLEASE HELP Post by: NeoSlug7 on September 24, 2014, 07:28:58 am a two player rhythm game made by konami. kind of like DDR but for your fingers. probably more closely related to beatmania. but i digress. the damn thing doesn't work on one side, well i mean it kind of does. but the alot of the keys don't register anything at all (some do) (some are intermittent). i had a 'tech' look at it and he said everything was fine and all the points were giving him back readings to his multi meter.
but to me the traces look a little rought but im not sure, im just a nub. someone please help! im willing to ship the keyboard part to anyone that thinks they can help. ill be happy with a reflow of solder if thats even what it needs. sorry for the upside down pics (http://i58.tinypic.com/53tn5c.jpg) these are the little rubber pads that press against the sensor on the board (http://i57.tinypic.com/28ji69s.jpg) here you can see the traces fading, i think. (http://i58.tinypic.com/2lno6v.jpg) trouble shooting steps iv taken: iv taken the working keyboard and installed it on the side where the other one wasnt working. and it worked fine. so its definitely the board. any other information or software CDs available would be greatly appreciated -Arthur |
