Title: Cabinet water damage repair Post by: EDD on September 17, 2014, 12:34:56 am I just got my first cabinet (Leland Quarterback) and it has some water damage. It looks like it was sitting in a puddle of water for quite some time. My question is should I sand it down or cut and replace that whole section?

Its not perfect but its not gonna be as noticeable as before. I was gonna say.. what I woulda did? I woulda tried to knock that extra swell down with a sander.. then I woulda bought some Loctite 2 stage epoxy and reinforced the area (glob it down and brush it around like paint) re sand .. set up for bondo work. If an area broke off.. cut and section a new piece in. Then I woulda used a sealer (not primer, primer breathes too much) and painted the bitch .
