Title: Can anyone help me with a English Mark Dart Super 6 Plus ii? Please. Post by: mojozone on September 16, 2014, 12:52:24 pm brothers in cade,
I picked up a $50 EMD Super 6 plus ii 6300 series. Couple questions if someone can help. I know nothing about dart machines, but i really want to try and get this thing working..Here is what i got going on, in the 2 hrs I've messed with it. It powers on, I can coin it up, it plays a little, then seems to freeze up. I have heard the power supply on these are shotty and usually are bad. Can i buy a replacement Power Supply for this from a vendor? I've never rebuilt one, but again $50 investment, i can give it a shot. When it is powered on, only some of the points/numbers register. I took the back off, i also took out all of the broken dart tips, thinking it was causing a connection. Can I clean the spider web plastic contact sheet? and if so with what? Any help on where to start with this project would be appreciated. Thanks Title: Re: Can anyone help me with a English Mark Dart Super 6 Plus ii? Please. Reseat those and see if it clears the issue up. That's what I do to fix mine. Eventually I will replace the headers and molex connectors/pins. #2 - Take the entire dart head apart and clean it up. Unbolt it from the back of the cabinet and unplug it. Remove the dart board and take it apart. Then clean the spider web, etc. It's a pain but it's pretty obvious what to do and how it works. Oh, yeah... check those voltages. I think they are labeled on the top of the power supplied. They are odd voltages and you aren't going to find a replacement easily. I got lucky and got one from eBay but that was a long time ago. It's possible to rebuild the power supply as there are not many components. Every thing worked fine except still didn't register half of the scores. Took everything off except the spider web and still didn't register. Felling like I need a new web... now how do I find one of those :)
