Title: Street Fighter 2 Half Screen problem Post by: DarthDigital on September 24, 2012, 04:45:02 pm Howdy folks, been a while.
Help! I just landed an awesome Street Fighter 2 Cabinet. Everything works, except one little problem; The monitor. Half the playing screen is missing, buried as if beneath the screen and under the very cabinet. I've played with ALL the adjustment knobs, and other then shrinking, expanding, stretching or getting a dancing jumble of distorted images, I still see only half the playing screen. Can someone give me some suggestions on how to fix this??? ??? Have you checked for burn marks and broken solder joints?

Do you have another JAMMA board you can put in the cabinet to rule out the board? Title: Re: Street Fighter 2 Half Screen problem Post by: buffett on October 24, 2012, 05:23:51 am post some pics of the chassis.
have you capped it like suggested or tried another game board. Peace Buffett Title: Re: Street Fighter 2 Half Screen problem Post by: Jack on November 16, 2012, 08:25:19 pm I saw someone fix an Asteroids Cocktail that had a similar problem.
Try reflowing the solder joints on the boards and see if that fixes it. -Jack Newbie Arcade Collector "The Cosmic Arcade" |
