Title: Atari Cocktail Cab rebuild project Post by: RiceCube on August 27, 2014, 09:05:41 pm I Have an Atari Cocktail table that has very little working on it. The coin-op lights up and I had sound once but it was an opening and skipped to a two second loop. I have no idea what it is or what it used to be. I have no monitor glow or glow in the tube. I have checked the power supply and I have 5v and 12v coming off it. I do not know much about the Isolation transformer and even though it looks like hell I believe it is functioning properly. I also checked all fuses through the board cleaned and checked connections and all were fine. The table is weathered and dirty but all wiring and boards are fairly clean for sitting so long. I have built my own MAME machines but this is my first authentic rebuild of a machine. I would like to keep close to original as possible besides the obvious cosmetics. It is an Atari table that is strange because I cannot find anything on the model number or serial. The board inside has a model number but I also can find nothing on it. Because I have no idea what is in it I cannot even look up the pinouts. The table had to of been altered. I have never seen the control layout before and it is different for each player. If anyone has info on this game or where to go next I would be more tan happy to take that advice. I am going to leave the model numbers if anyone wants to take a crack at this.

Title: Re: Atari Cocktail Cab rebuild project Post by: VertexGuy on August 31, 2014, 01:27:05 am it is what I thought it was but it has analog sticks and four buttons https://www.flickr.com/photos/127263296@N03/?savedsettings=15055640641#photo15055640641 It looks like somebody replaced the fire button on the asteroids with a stick, then added 2 more buttons. Title: Re: Atari Cocktail Cab rebuild project Post by: RiceCube on August 31, 2014, 10:10:57 am That is what I thought. But does anyone know if the plug and outlet leading to the power supply is normal or not? I have never seen this before in a cab and the the wiring is confusing the hell out of me. Started taking apart the monitor chassis last night and found a busted fuse on the end of the picture tube. there are three on the end of the tube. Would this stop any power from getting to the monitor or would this fuse control a certain colour?
