Title: Area 51 for $250
Post by: Jones711 on August 12, 2014, 06:58:09 pm
Hey guys. I have the opportunity of getting a area 51 in working condition for $250.  Seems like a good deal to me but I thought I'd ask everyone since I'm new to collecting. Does anyone have this in there collection? Is it a good shooter to have? Thanks.

Area 51 is a solid shooting game from 95.  it's nice 'cause it has the Atari brand attached and had unique graphics.

it spawned sequels and home ports. it was pretty popular and

replayability is average. i recommend this for alien/zombie lovers.

this is a common game looking from a collector's standpoint. i guess the market value of the game is closer to $500 so $250 is a good deal.

Its a fun game, limited replay value as all shooters are. However, if you like shooters a lot you will like area51.

Is the area51 a dedicated or conversion? of course dedicated is more desirable.

Is it a dedicated Area 51? There were a lot of conversions out there.

It think that if it is dedicated and working and decent in shape, $250 is totally fine. The big questions is this.... do you really like the game?

He is right though. These types of games you need to LOVE the game, not even just fondly like. They get boring very fast unless you REALLY LOVE shooters.
