Title: Nintendo coin door / back door lock size? Post by: Tarantulas on August 12, 2014, 06:04:27 pm On my DK Jr. cabinet, the back lock was drilled out by the previous owner, and the lone key I found in the cabinet doesn't seem to work in the coin door. So I'm guess I'm drilling the other one out and starting over from scratch.
So.... on classic Nintendo cabinets, are the locks 5/8" or 7/8"? Are the locks the same size, or different sizes between the two locations? Is there a replacement that's "nicer" than others? I have a Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Popeye and Vs. Super Mario I'm trying to restore. BUT I will bet john knows the answer.
