Title: Nintendo Joystick Rebuild
Post by: StevesArcade on August 12, 2014, 02:00:49 pm
Does anyone know of a good video for rebuilding a Nintendo Joystick?  If not JOHN, after you finish Journey, could you rebuild a Nintendo joystick.  Maybe the RType needs a rebuild.  Thanks Guys.

That joystick is EASY to rebuild. IT's all metal.

Take it apart 100% and clean the hell out of it. Last time I did one I used electronics cleaner to clean the gunk off. Then, put it together and spray some silicon lubricant in the ball.

I can do a video for it.

That would be awesome!... also is there anything in the stick that needs to be replaced?  like a grommet.  These sticks are very loose and don't self center.
