Hey guys I'm new to the arcade scene and recently picked up a Double Dragon arcade from a local vendor looking to downsize. I originally bought the cabinet under the assumption it was in non working condition, after using the adjusting knobs on the monitor to do some fine tuning I was able to get the picture to show but still not anywhere near where it should be (kind of blue and grainy). My lack of knowledge and research points me toward a cap kit and that might be all it takes to take care of the issue, unfortunately I have no idea what monitor I have and what cap kit to buy. Any help would be appreciated, can add pictures later today when I arrive home. Thanks

hi. short answer is if you have adjusted every thing over and over and the picture still doesn't look right, the next step is to do a cap kit.

Try to take a picture of the monitor, You could just need a cap kit and maybe a new flyback. Maybe there is something more there but not too sure from the description.

That's a K7000 monitor and on the picture you do need a cap kit to fix that droop at the top of the screen. The color issue looks like RED bias is too high. Try to adjust the red bias and red drive to get the color back. If that isn't working then maybe your adjustment pot is bad or something else is wrong.
