Title: Wells Gardner model 19k7689 - keeps shutting off
Post by: lesoleil70 on June 28, 2014, 04:31:52 pm
Hi,

I have a monitor with an annoying fault, wondering if anyone can help me fix it.

basically it just shuts off, but if i power down, count to 10, then power on it works.

Pain in the arse when you are in the middle of a game, but to be fair it's most often when it's been left for a few days.
A few on's and offs, and then it will run for hours.

Any ideas what this could be?

I'd say HV shut down. Check your B+. If it's too high, replace the voltage regulator.
