Post by: iankellogg on June 04, 2014, 07:23:12 am
I finally took a video of my barn. Really excited to get my games moved to my house.

That's a great space, tons of potential!  I wouldn't mess with a second floor, maybe just a small loft to store things.

That is what i was thinking of doing. Would absolutely love to be able to get the bar up on the second floor. But that might not happen.

Thanks, I will document this as best as I can. I often forget to even take pictures when working hard.

nice ! just add an outdoor grill to the back patio section behind the bar and you got a sweet setup !

Cool video Ian, it's screaming potential.

And your design, you've really thought this out.

At least that's what I thought, until I saw that you forgot the dart board, c'mon man make the effort.

Very cool. Can't wait to see it finished. I'm in the the process of remodeling my basement with one half for an arcade. Can't wait to get it done. Good luck and have fun with it.

I keep joking with my wife that were going to need to build a barncade since what started out as our small 3 game arcade as doubled in the last 30 days.....and will only grow more!!

Ian, looks sweet, if you can't put a full bar up there... Maybe at minimum you could put some 2nd floor theater seating and mount a kick ass projector to give yourself a massive television.

I actually know a dude that did this. I think john knows him too..

Picked up 6 new games. One of which will probably end up in the fire pit.

Pair of Cruis'n'worlds
time crisis 2 Solo
Sanfrancisco Rush
Midway cab with naomi installed
and a "Ripper Ribbit", terrible object.

In your spare time, perhaps you can fabricate a catapult, see how far the Ripper Ribbit will fly. (after taking out the monitor)

I took another quick update video last night to show off most of the games moved into the barn. I still have a ways to go before the barn is up and running.
Next on the list is to do the proper model since I have measurements now.
Once the model is done I can figure out how many outlets I am going to need so I'll be doing wiring in the coming days hopefully.

Ah so much room to grow, that is awesome Ian. Half the fun is finding and buying games for me and you can do it for a long time to come, you're lucky.
